$100 Entry Fee in 1999 dollars, up to $120 in July 2006
No Limit Betting
Alternating Rounds of Hold'em and Omaha/8 or all Hold'em
All Rounds 20 (or 30) Minutes Each
Blinds increase every round
Initial Stack of T$100 ($2500 starting 12/02/2006)
Winner Takes All (unless negotiated)
Winner get trophy and is responsible for engraving their name on it
Two blinds, small and big where big blind is twice the small blind
Small blind order is 1, 2, 4, 8, 15, 25, 40, 50 then halve the chips every round after the 50-100 round if necessary (multiplied by 25, roughly, when starting chips went to $2500)
Chip round up instead of chip race
When heads-up the button has the small blind
$25 taken from prize pool toward initial trophy costs until paid off (12/02/2006 - first tourney with no trophy rake, Derek says it is paid off)
